Puppet Browser Demo

Overview

Curious how remote desktop tools actually work under the hood, I scoped the problem down to just a browser. Puppeteer drives a headless Chromium instance, Socket.IO streams its view and forwards your input back, and an offline PC ends up with a fully working browser, no internet required.

Highlights

  1. 01Uses Puppeteer to launch and control a Chromium instance programmatically.
  2. 02Real-time screenshot capture and streaming to the client via Socket.IO.
  3. 03Intercepts and transmits complex input events (clicks, scrolls, keyboard) and handles cross-device clipboard sync.
  4. 04Sequential action queue to prevent overlapping commands, with manual history management.
